May 7, 2025In today’s rapidly evolving threat landscape, security teams are constantly working to reduce risks and remediate threats. However, the sheer volume of vulnerabilities and incidents can make it challenging to communicate progress and value to stakeholders. Security teams often spend countless hours managing vulnerabilities and incidents, leaving little time for building and sharing progress reports. This can result in stakeholders being uninformed about the security team’s efforts and achievements. To address this, we are excited to introduce the unified security summary, a comprehensive report designed to streamline security progress reporting and provide valuable insights into your organization’s security posture.
Benefits of the Unified Security Summary
The Unified Security Summary offers several benefits to both security teams and stakeholders:
- Improved Communication: The report provides a clear and concise summary of security efforts, making it easier to communicate progress and value to stakeholders.
- Enhanced Decision-Making: By providing detailed insights into incidents and risk levels, the report helps security teams make informed decisions and prioritize actions.
- Increased Visibility: The report highlights the security team’s achievements and the effectiveness of security solutions, helping to build trust and confidence among stakeholders.
- Streamlined Reporting: The report simplifies the process of creating and sharing progress reports, allowing security teams to focus on what matters most – protecting the organization.
- Easy Export and Integration: The report can be easily exported as a PDF, allowing users to share it with other stakeholders. Additionally, it can be downloaded as a CSV file, enabling teams to integrate the data into their own reports, which may include data from various sources.
- Aggregative Data: The summary includes aggregative data for periods of 30 or 90 days, relating to deployment and posture, protection, detection, investigation, and response.
Conclusion
The unified security summary is a powerful tool that helps security teams communicate their efforts and achievements, providing stakeholders with valuable insights into the organization’s security posture. By streamlining security progress reporting, the report enables better decision-making, increased visibility, and improved communication. We are excited to see how this new feature will help security teams around the world showcase their value and continue to protect their organizations effectively.
