Are you unable to delete AI Search with the following error?

LockedSPLResourceFound :Unable to verify management locks on Resource ‘$Resource_Path ‘. If you still want to delete the search service, manually delete the SPL resource first and try again.

[Solution – Delete the Shared Private Link]

The error message will appear if you still have Shared Private Link configured in AI Search. AI Search will not let you delete the resource unless you delete the Shared Private Link first.

You must delete the Shared Private Link in the Portal manually.
Move to Settings > Networking > Shared private access tab.  

Once the Shared Private Links are all deleted,  please try again to delete the AI Search.

Also please give at least 15 minutes for the Shared Private Links to be deleted completely as it may take longer.

[Extra – I tried to delete Shared Private Links but it’s been pending for a long while]

There are occasions where you will see your Shared Private Links are in a state of being deleted for a long time as below. (For example 3 hours plus or more)

In this case, please open a case to our Support team mentioning you are having an issue with deleting AI Search due to Shared Private Link not being deleted properly. Our team will take care of the issue from that point on!
