June 27, 2025
We’re excited to announce that a major update to MS-4014: Build a foundation to extend Microsoft 365 Copilot will go live ASAP this Friday, June 27. This update is being released quickly in response to trainer feedback, with the goal of improving pacing and clarity while preserving alignment with course objectives.

🕓 New 4-Hour Delivery Format
The course has been streamlined to a 4-hour delivery format, making it easier to schedule and more focused for learners. This change supports more efficient delivery while maintaining the depth and quality of instruction.
✂️ Slide Count Reduction for Better Flow
We’ve reduced the overall slide count—especially in Modules 1 and 2—to eliminate redundancy and improve pacing. These modules previously introduced Microsoft 365 Copilot extensibility and agent development options, but much of that content is now more effectively covered in Modules 3 and 4.
This restructuring:
- Tightens the introduction of key concepts
- Reinforces learning through deeper, more focused content
- Enhances clarity and instructional flow
Importantly, the structure of the course remains unchanged—we’re simply trimming the number of slides to improve delivery.
📘 Updated Trainer Materials
As part of this update:
- The Trainer Deck and Trainer Preparation Guide will be replaced in the LDC with updated versions reflecting the new format and timing guidance.
- If you’ve already downloaded the current versions, you can continue using them without issue. The update does not affect course structure—only the volume of content.
This update reflects our shared commitment to delivering high-impact, learner-centered training. Thank you to all the trainers who provided feedback
