Teddy Phillips is a Senior Technical Program Manager on Microsoft’s AI Red Team, where he leads high-impact efforts to secure AI systems through adversarial testing, risk analysis, and red team operations. With a background in cybersecurity and a deep understanding of both traditional and emerging threats, Teddy plays a key role in identifying vulnerabilities in generative AI models and helping engineering teams build safer, more resilient AI systems. Before joining the AI Red Team, Teddy worked across Microsoft’s security ecosystem, leading initiatives in enterprise risk reduction, protocol hardening, and threat containment. He is also the creator of the award-winning cultural trivia app For The Culture, which celebrates Black excellence and history and has reached over 1 million users globally. A passionate advocate for equity in tech, Teddy combines technical leadership with community impact, often speaking to students and organizations about breaking into cybersecurity and building ethical AI. He was recently recognized as one of Seattle’s 100 Most Influential People for his cross-sector work in tech, art, and activism.

With over two decades of experience in quality assurance in the DoD and Intelligence communities, Angela holds dual bachelor’s degrees in electrical engineering and computer engineering from Florida A&M University. In her role at Microsoft, Angela excels ensuring the quality and security of Azure services, showcasing expertise in software testing, requirements gathering, and user experience. Beyond her professional achievements, Angela is a dedicated mentor and tutor, sharing her knowledge generously. An advocate for sustainable technology, Angela enjoys driving electric lawnmowers and her electric Mustang. Her love for family is evident in the time she spends with her daughter.
