Creating content with AI just got a whole lot easier. This week we began rolling out an updated Create experience in the Microsoft 365 Copilot app to Microsoft 365 commercial customers, empowering them to unlock AI’s full potential in the creative process. Create will become generally available to commercial customers worldwide over the coming weeks.

• Visual artifacts: Generate and edit images, digital posters, and banners for emails, Teams announcements, and SharePoints.  

• Videos: Transform a prompt or PowerPoint presentation into a complete video—Copilot will generate a script, select relevant stock media, and add visuals, titles, transitions, and voiceovers. Streamlining video creation while boosting engagement and improving information comprehension 

• Text artifacts: Draft virtually any type of text artifact including strategy documents, emails, blog posts, FAQs, and more—then collaborate with others in Pages until you are ready to export your content to Word, Outlook, or wherever you intend to use your text. 

• Forms: Produce surveys, quizzes, and polls to help you get the data and insights you need to inform your work.

Many understand AI can be a powerful content creation tool but often feel unsure about how to use it effectively. Create addresses this challenge with a variety of unique features anyone can use including:  

• Impressive AI-generation: Ensure your content is high-quality with powerful LLMs such as OpenAI’s GPT-4o for image generation, and tailored to your work with data grounded by the Microsoft Graph and files uploaded by you. 


• Prompt templates: Get the outcome you are looking for with prompt templates, which provide the foundation for writing a great prompt using natural language, and dropdown boxes to select the style, branding, and dimensions you need.  


• Brand kits: Consistently apply the proper colors, fonts, logos, imagery, and tone of voice to your work with brand kits loaded by your organization or created by you. 


• AI-generative editors: Get AI-powered assistance to quickly make fundamental changes such as style, tone, or color scheme; or use AI to make sophisticated adjustments such as changing the background or removing an object from an image. 


• Standard editing tools: Fine tune your work without going through additional AI generations with built-in tools that make it easy to edit text, add effects, and move content around. 


• Branded and generic templates: Find traditional templates for Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to help you start your work.
