Manage cases from multiple tenants in one place – Now generally available!
Security Operations (SecOps) teams for large organizations and managed security service providers (MSSPs) often face the challenge of managing cases across multiple tenants. Keeping track of cases from these different environments can be painful, unless you can view all the cases in one place.
Today, we are happy to announce that case management multi-tenant support is now generally available. You can now view, create, update, and act on cases from multiple tenants from a single pane of glass.
A seamless, unified experience
The experience is just like the single tenant experience, but cases from multiple tenants are combined into one view. Click on the “Cases” entry on the navigation bar to begin.
The cases queue adds columns for tenant name and tenant id, so you can see which tenant each case belongs to.
If you are managing many tenants, you can now search, sort, or filter the case queue by tenant. All existing sort, filter, and search features also work across multiple tenants in one combined view. Your per tenant RBAC settings are fully respected, so you only see the cases you’re authorized to access.
To create a new case, simply click “Create case”, select the tenant, and proceed as usual. Custom statuses will reflect the selected tenant’s settings.
Manage cases as you do today by clicking on the desired row to get a case preview or clicking the case name to pivot to the case details page. You can effortlessly navigate between cases in different tenants without leaving multi-tenant case experience or losing context.
Can I link incidents from other tenants to my case?
Currently, incident linking is supported only within the same tenant. However, we’re actively listening to customer feedback and evolving the experience based on your needs.
Looking forward
Multi-tenant support is just one step for the new case management solution. We continue to welcome your feedback as we add features toward providing a unified, security-focused case management experience for SecOps. Your feedback is invaluable as we continue to enhance the experience.
